Live @ the Lake House, as the title implies, is a live recording from our 9/15/2017 performance at the Lake House Lake Bluff, where the Ron Barron & Friends jazz sextet has performed since October, 2014. Led by the great jazz drummer, Ron Barron, the group has enjoyed being the house band for this fun dining establishment.

Sadly, Ron passed away in January, 2018 after battling a number of health issues. The band continues to mourn Ron’s passing and works to carry on his tradition of performing excellent jazz with precision and pizzazz.

Pianist Bill Chapin, who assisted Ron with band leadership tasks since the band’s inception, continues to lead the band under its new name, the Chapin Jazz X-tet.
