Registration Information

We’re delighted that you’re ready to sign up for this summer’s Grayslake Jazz Combo Workshop. Before you complete the form, here are some helpful notes.

Info About the Registration Form

The form invites you to donate to Chapin Jazz Studio. You may ignore that dropdown, or if you would like to contribute to our scholarship fund, you may make a donation. All funds received via this donation link are used to provide financial need scholarships for the workshop. (See image attached)
On the Checkout screen, you will also see an offer to contribute to the Zeffy platform, which provides this free service that helps organizations like ours manage ticketing for events. Note that you can click other and enter 0 or enter a donation of any amount, as shown in the attached image. Those funds go to Zeffy.

Specifics About Registering

Please be sure that you’ve read about the dates, combo levels, and other program details before you register. Click here to get the details.
When ready, click the colored button below with the combo level, day schedule, and time for the combo you prefer.
On the registration form, you will be prompted to purchase a “ticket” (or spot) for your instrument for the combo.
You will also be asked for the student’s and parent/guardians’ contact information–along with other information about the student.
If there are no spots available in your preferred combo, you may select a free Waiting List ticket. Or your can register for a combo offered at another time or day schedule.

After you register, you will receive a confirmation, and we will be in touch with information about the audition process. Students who are new to the program and returning students who want to advance a level are required to do an audition.
